We’re partnering with a well known multinational organisation that is investing heavily in their data and digital transformation programs. They are seeking a Data Engineer to join their growing analytics team for an initial 12 month contract and help design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that power business insights and decision-making.

About the role:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing robust data pipelines, optimising data flows, and integrating diverse data sources into a centralised environment. You’ll collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure the organisation’s data assets are accessible, reliable, and future-ready.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (e.g. Airflow, DBT) and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or GCP BigQuery).
• Solid programming skills in Python (or Scala/Java for big data).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with big data frameworks (e.g. Spark, Hadoop).
• Exposure to containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with modern data warehousing and real-time streaming.
